To celebrate the joyous occasion of Christmas, a variety of creative activities were organized for students of Std. I to Std. IV. These activities aimed to foster creativity, joy, sharing, and an understanding of the spirit of Christmas through hands-on learning. Each Std. was given two topics from which they had to select any one topic and do the activity.
The topics were as follows:
Std. I:
Students of Std. I participated in Candle Decoration and Santa Face Wall Hanging activities. With great enthusiasm, children decorated candles using colours, glitter, and craft materials. They also created cheerful Santa face wall hangings, which helped develop fine motor skills and encouraged self-expression.
Std. II:
Students of Std. II engaged in Christmas Star Making and Decoration and Christmas Tree Wall Hanging activities. The children carefully crafted stars using paper and decorative materials, symbolizing hope and joy. They also made colourful Christmas tree wall hangings, enhancing their creativity and sense of festive decoration.
Std. III:
For Std. III, students created Christmas Wreaths and Hanging Bells. The wreath-making activity introduced students to the significance of Christmas symbols, while the bell-hanging activity encouraged patience, coordination, and aesthetic sense. The classrooms were beautifully adorned with their handmade creations.
Std. IV:
Students of Std. IV took part in Christmas Tree Decoration and Wall Hanging activities. They worked collaboratively to decorate Christmas trees using handmade ornaments and also designed decorative wall hangings. This activity promoted teamwork, responsibility, and creativity among the students.
