The Blue House celebrated its feast with a special prayer service conducted by Ms. Lydia and Ms. Immaculate, marking the Nativity of Our Lady and Girl Child Day.
The service began with a melodious opening hymn, creating a prayerful and reverend atmosphere. The reflection that followed highlighted the exemplary virtues of Mother Mary—humility, faith, obedience, prayer, self-control, purity, love, patience, kindness, and wisdom. These virtues were presented as guiding lights for all to emulate in daily life.
A meaningful scripture reading further enriched the celebration, deepening the participants’ understanding of Mary’s role and significance. The service concluded with a heartfelt closing hymn that left everyone with a sense of peace and renewed devotion.
The prayer service had a profound impact, inspiring participants to:
Uphold the dignity and empowerment of girls.
Foster a nurturing and supportive environment for their growth.
Imitate Mary’s virtues in their own lives.
The Blue House Feast was thus a grace-filled and inspiring celebration, blending devotion to Our Lady with a strong call to honor, empower, and uplift every girl child.
