The Hindi Diwas Prayer Service was held in our school with great reverence and enthusiasm to honor the beauty and importance of the Hindi language. Students from Std. I to Std. IV gathered together to begin the day with a special prayer.
The service began with a short introduction by the teachers, where the children were told about the significance of Hindi Diwas. They learned that Hindi was adopted as one of the official languages of India on 14th September 1949, and it plays an important role in uniting people across different regions of our country.
Prayers and hymns were offered, followed by a brief reflection on the richness of Hindi literature, its simplicity, and its ability to connect people. The students also recited simple Hindi shlokas and meaningful lines to express gratitude for the gift of language.
The prayer service instilled in the children a sense of pride in their national language and encouraged them to use it respectfully in their daily lives.
The Hindi Diwas Prayer Service was a spiritually enriching experience that not only helped students understand the historical significance of Hindi but also inspired them to uphold its value as a language that brings unity and harmony.
